Le Pont du Roy is open all year round!

Welcome to Bed and Breakfast Le Pont du Roy in Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise, a historic hotel whose first stone was laid at the end of the 19th century. Until the beginning of the present century it was a hotel with more than 20 rooms.

We are open all year round and we already have four rooms available, the fifth will be ready in the summer of 2020. The spacious rooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with all modern comforts, while preserving the authentic atmosphere.

Bed & Breakfast Le Pont du Roy is ideal for your holidays in spring, summer, autumn and winter! Or as an ideal stop on your way to or from your holiday destination within Europe!

Winter is a great time for those who love winter sports. The ski resorts of Super-Besse and Le Mont-Dore are only 9 km away with no less than 84 km of slopes! A ski resort that, in terms of snow and sunshine, can be compared to the average ski areas of the Alps and the Pyrenees. But then much cheaper!

Le Pont du Roy is therefore an ideal starting point for your winter holidays. The shuttle stops at our door, so there is no parking problem on the runways. Hiking, skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or just enjoy the view! So book directly a stay at the Le Pont du Roy now!

We are Hans and Petra Meijer and we have been living in the Puy-de-Dôme since 2014. After having managed a guest house for several years, it was time to find our own house.

In “Le Pont du Roy” we found the combination we were looking for. It is a beautiful characteristic building, with a large garden, located in a quiet area along the Couze Pavin River.

At Le Pont du Roy, you wake up rested by the murmur of the Couze Pavin River, get a delicious breakfast at a comfortable table and then take beautiful walks in the surroundings. The medieval Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise is a few steps from our house. Or you can ski in the nearby ski area Super-Besse / Puy de Sancy (only 9 km)!

Through the interactive Google map that we have prepared especially for you, you can quickly scan this interesting destinations en will get a first impression by photo or video of them.. Lets explore!!

There are many sights and activities in the region and of course, you are very welcome in our garden along the little river la Couze Pavin. There you can find a place to relax in the shade or in the sun.

On the ground floor, you will find a comfortable lounge, the dining room and the (future) workshop of Hans’ watchmaker, where you are always welcome to come and take a look!

We would like to be a place where you feel at home, with enough space for privacy, but also the opportunity to exchange experiences.
